LifeCare Hospitals of Shreveport enjoys the distinction as our flagship of hospitals. From its beginnings in
January of 1993 as a small locally owned and operated facility we have grown to 130 beds with three separate
campuses throughout the Shreveport community. Our main campus at 9320 Linwood Avenue is located on 17 beautiful
wooded acres in South Shreveport. Our other two campuses are satellites, or hospital in hospital operations,
and are located inside short term acute care facilities in Shreveport.
Los Angeles Shriners Hospital
The Los Angeles Shriners Hospital is a 60-bed pediatric orthopaedic hospital providing comprehensive orthopaedic
care to children at no charge. The hospital is one of 22 Shriners Hospitals throughout North America. The Los Angeles
Hospital accepts and treats children with routine and complex orthopaedic problems, utilizing the latest treatments
and technology available in pediatric orthopaedics, resulting in early ambulation and reduced length of stay.

patient care services, research, and community outreach. LSUHSC-S encompasses the School of Medicine in Shreveport,
the School of Graduate Studies in Shreveport, the School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport, the LSU Hospital
and E. A. Conway Medical Center.
